My 2012 Focus Hatchback has a 2.0L (normally aspirated) engine with a 5 speed Manual. I bought it used and was trying to get used to the clutch engagement. I found it lacked low end torque and I had to find the right amount of throttle to get smooth engagements. After rolling from a stop the acceleration was poor unless I floored the pedal. I installed my Pedal Commander and tried a few settings. The race setting allowed me to find much improved acceleration at light to medium throttle. The engine response was now acceptable. Also I had to press the gas pedal about a 1/4" before the engine would come off idle and that made clutch engagement difficult and it was unpredictable from a stop. I found a Ford forum fix for that. 1st by turning the ignition to the on position and waiting for the indicator lights in the dash prove out, then depressing the pedal to the floor and letting off, then turning the key to the off position and restarting it. That effectively re-calibrated the APP sensor and the engine rpm increased at first contact to the gas pedal. Win Win. So happy I invested in the Pedal Commander.

Best 300 investment i spent on my 10 yr old Ford Focus SE. Works perfect on slow 4 cylinder engine, especially manual transmission. Amazing upgrade!

Paired with a qulipta throttle controller, pedal,q,pedal commander; the setup happily overrides the factory maf clamp that limits power. E85 only car, it unleashed a lot of power.

I’ve wanted the pedal commander for quite some time and I have to say, this was worth the wait. Mario (my car is named Mario) is now the go-kart he was made to be. The settings are amazing, the app actually works, and I did the installation myself WHILE I WAS AT WORK. Easy, fun, and dare I say…a necessity. Thank you!

Product is as designed. I have no complaints at the moment. My 2017 Ford Focus SE 1.0 Ecoboost has the most responsive action in Sport+ on #4. Still need to try the eco and city modes. Great product, highly recommended. No disappointments.

I have just received my pedal commander today and wow! I have a 2014 1.6 Ford Focus which i thought for a 1.6 stock was faster? The pedal commander took all of 2 minutes to install and it’s a game changing system! I feel like I’m driving a 2L or more.. when previously 2L BMWs or Audis were flying past me I am now able to keep up with them or even pass them! (Also drove responsible with this please! I have to say that because sport+ +4 setting is ridiculous!!). Thanks so much pedal commander for making this! It also has no negotiable effect on fuel on sport plus +4 as I drove round for over an hour in it and my mpg stayed the same and I even got more mpg at some points?!I purchased one for my 2009 Ford Focus a couple years back not realising it was for 2011+ and they gave me a full refund and I shipped it back to them. They’re an amazing, understanding and considerate company and have great customer service. I will not be buying a car without one of these to install on it in the future that’s for sure!!

I had a ford fusion 1.5 turbo, and it felt laggy, the pedal commander fixed this issue nicely. I traded the fusion in for a 2019 mustang gt and it still had some of that annoying drive by wire let me send you acceleration request to a committee for authorization kind of delay and then once approved it will accelerate. I grew up on drive by cable set up smash pedal car goes faster. so I really dislike the game controller pedal set ups. This Pedal commander pc 18 works great. solves the problem nicely. I had it in city + 2 then +1 now just in city, or it got so quick it was twitchy. Not a bad problem to have just tune it in for your car. I would like to see improvements in the Bluetooth control app. Having to acknowledge every time you are using it is annoying when trying to make adjustments. Though it has a few slight connectivity issues it works fairly well.

I have the turbo diesel f150.The sct tune.The pedal commander takes that turbo lag away, or at least 90% of it.

16 focus rs. Easy install but had to reach up near steering column. Modes work like they are supposed to. Sport+ mode (pedal comm) with track mode (rs drive mode) on makes it feel very torquey and almost impossible for daily driving but can be adjusted. Bluetooth app works very well. Not a power mod, but definitely increases throttle response and fun factor.

I have a 2017 Mustang GT/CS 5.0 Automatic. I've purchased and installed a Roush CIA and a Borla Racing Exhaust prior to purchasing and installing the Pedal Commander. While those upgrades brought some life to the engine and added a great deal of exhaust acoustics...the Pedal Commander made the biggest difference BY FAR! I’ve yet to even really do much in the Sport+ mode. Sport has thrown my head back and ripped the rubber every time! This thing is just flat out awesome! Literally took 5 minutes to install. Where/if you decide to mount it may take a little longer. I just ran mine through the steering column trim and then looped it around the top of the steering column trim between the steering wheel and the instrument cluster. Super easy, super accessible, and easily removed when taking it in for maintenance. At a price tag just over $250 it’s a no brainer, wish I had made the purchase sooner.---UPDATE 08/27/2019---I have since gotten my Mustang Supercharged with the Roush Phase 3 kit that provides 727hp. After picking it up at the dealership I left the pedal commander off to see if I'd still need it...man do I!!! Don't get me wrong, the supercharger could be felt around 2500-3000RPM, but the pedal commander gets me there so much faster than the Roush flash does with the supercharger. I have noticed that when I drop the pedal to the floor it has some misfires but I think that may be due to 93 octane with ethanol. I'm looking for an ethanol-free gas station to rule that out. I still think this was the best bang for my buck by far!

It was an easy install - unplug the pedal wire and plug in the Commander. A programmer does not do what the pedal commander does. Try this before a programmer. Unless you are looking for extra power from a programmer, you are going to discover a load of untapped power over the factory pedal.

After seeing so many reviews of this product I was a little hesitant in believing this little device could add so much 2 the throttle. Installed it in less than 5 minutes after squeezing myself underneath the steering wheel.. Zip tied the wires. Took my '17 5.0 4 a spin and wow the throttle was amazing.kept it in sport mode.Still have 2 try other modes and see which I like best.

Just received, installed in 5 minutes, and... I have no words. It's awesome. My V6 Mustang automatic (2013) seems a real different car. Now I can feel its power from the very first moment. I'm impressed. I recommend it to all mustang owners, almost of this model.

The pedal commander though slightly difficult to install due to the type of connectors involved and the limited amount of space to work with for larger body types works exceptionally well in increasing off the line acceleration response as compared to stock and you don't have to toggle off traction control for it to work better
