The ECO mode is what we use for longer hauls to improve our gas efficiency in the v8. The Sport jumps off the line and manages to keep a steady flow of energy without being jumpy…

Like having my 2013 Land Cruiser back. Set it in city mode and it is now very responsive. Like having a new car. Thank you

My cruiser isn’t quite as sluggish as it was before.

Awesome gas miles and easy to install.

This thing is awesome!!! This takes all the lag out of your throttle.

Love this and all 4Runner owners should invest in this. No more lag and definitely takes off like it was a V8.

This product is amazing the response of the pedal is a complete night and day difference! I put this on my 2010 Corolla S with a KNN short ram intake . I get instant throttle and that's just barely pressed. Super easy to install and the Bluetooth works perfectly specially if you don't want to use the device.

This little thing is awesome. Im running sport +1 (it comes standard that way) on my 18 tundra and it drives like it should from the factory. I read people driving around in tow mode and I tried it and it sucks, too jump and revs out the gears, this little gem is smooth take off and just no hesitation anywhere just smooth torque and shifting all the way . Where it really shines is when your on the freeway it is very smooth. Just took my truck in a few days ago for my first oil change left it on there didn't change anything and did not hear a word about it. The Bluetooth app works great I just tuck the little gadget in back and under the front console and use the Bluetooth for any adjustments. I tried one other it was way way too touchy but sport +1 is really good just lay your foot into it anyone next to you will think you want to race lol It just takes off if you slam it

This product has improved my mpg and given me more control of my 4runner. I have had it on for about a month now and no complaints.

My truck is really fast respond. Mileage doesn’t change anything. Installed for over 6 months and still love it

I have a 2016 Tundra with the 4.6L motor. It is a vehicle used for transportation with the an occasional light duty hauling trip. I contemplating trading the truck in for the 5.7L model because I wanted better acceleration performance. This device makes driving my truck much more fun and enjoyable. The fuel economy doesn't look like it's been affected at all.

This simple little device makes the driving experience SO much better. I find City+2 perfect for my needs. Worth every penny! A little install tip on the 5th Gen 4Runner. You’ll need to contort yourself a bit but when you’re finally in position to unplug the pedal, first push down gently, then press the side firmly, then pull up. Cake. ;) Keep in mind it’s not a supercharger - it just takes all the annoying lag out of the accelerator.

Before deciding whether to purchase, I was searching in vain everywhere for 2008-15 Toyota Land Cruiser owners' feedback on whether the PC27 unit improved performance on our 5.7L V8s with the 6-spd auto transmissions. Well, the answer for the next person searching is a definite yes. Do it already. The overall power response improvement is impressive. I can't commend on gas mileage improvement yet, but that was not my top priority. There seems like a lot more mid-range passing power once rolling too. I'm only in Sport + 0 mode and it's enough for daily street driving without behaving a jerk for the kid passengers. While the mid RPM's seem unchanged or changed little, the up-tempo compliance is a pleasure compared to OEM behavior. It's money well spent in my case.

I know it doesn't add power or fuel economy. My wife's 4runner went from laggy to fun. Toyota just screwed up the accelerator response curve and won't own up to it. This fixes it. We just leave it in City, tucked in the dash.

Installation could have been done by my 5 year old. Honestly took more time to get the adhesive paper off the back of the velcro mounting tape. HUGE difference in throttle response! Never realized how much I had to push the pedal before. City mode is likely where I'll stay most of the time. Sport and sport+ are insanely sensitive.

Incredible toy more then I expected I highly recommend

This thing is awsome. Trust me I know its unbelievable, but I love this thing. A much cheaper way to get that extra kick out of your car.

Love it, this makes the 4Runner 2019 limited into a monster.Makes the car feel like an audi Q7 turboThe best Mod so far.

Super easy to install, the Bluetooth works flawlessly, it was also easy to route the cable and place the unit in a good location on the dashboard. As I read before buying it, it truly does change the feel on the pedal and makes the car feel stronger, although let’s be clear it does not affect the horsepower. I installed on a 2018 4Runner, together with a cold air intake and an exhaust system, and it is an outstanding combination, both improving the responsiveness and “power”, and the feel of the drive. I will most definitely recommend this product

It does work well put it in my 2018 Toyota 4 runner it made a difference

No question about it.... this think works. It does not add horsepower. It does not add torque. It does make the throttle response snappier. Packaging seemed a bit scored around the edges but that's irrelevant. I quickly installed in my 2014 4Runner and found the paperwork claimed it also worked in my wife's highlander. I have not tested it in the highlander. The 14 4Runner's accelerator pedal response is so flat and gooey the first 60% until anything real actually happens. I started out in City Zero. I liked this. I tried City +1. I liked this too. Sport Zero. TOO MUCH TOO Soon. Sport+ Did not even bother with this because Sport was such overkill.Eco Zero: super dead and slow just like the warning said.Bluetooth setup was the longest chore in the installation. Once I got the app up and running I just shoved the wiring and box under the dash out of sight. Setting changes took moments of fiddling with the app. I am going to leave it off when others might drive the car. I found the City 0 or +1 setting to be most favorable. There is a lot of snake oil warnings out there on these types of products. I found the majority of assertions made out there on social media by purchasers were accurate: This remedies the non linear throttle response curve which everyone suspects the manufacturer programmed into the cars to squeeze the maximum fuel economy out of the engine.I just putted around my town for fifteen minutes and found turning right and accelerating into traffic was way snappier and I am looking forward to testing freeway downshifts for passing/merging capability. The pricing is always a matter of subjective opinion. I really don't feel this is a $300 modification, however the product and the app functioning so well... ease of installation.... Its easily one of the most effective mods I have ever invested in and I feel it will retain value if resold or if I decide to plug it into any of the other compatible Toyota's I own. Please don't install this and just plop it into Sport+ mode and back out of your garage. Test it out on the lower city settings you will be quite happy with those... Unless you're some ricky-racer who is prepping to wrap your car around a pole.

Worked great on my new 4Runner. When I test drove this vehicle for the first time, I was considerably underwhelmed by the lack of throttle response, especially given the torque and HP specs. After installation, it was like night and day. Highly recommend.

sport 4 yee ha turn off traction control start saving for tires wish i had posi rear !! eco did not try yet city seems to be a good setting for everyday driving

I installed the Pedal Commander in a 2007 Camry 1 month ago and I love it. It doesn't add more horsepower to the car it just gives you a quicker throttle response. I use the City mode most of the time and I have noticed a slight improvement in my gas mileage. I think it is due to the fact that I don't have to press the pedal down as far to get the throttle response I want, thus using less gasoline.
